The current client likes to manage by e-mail barrage, sort of like a manual D.O.S. Attack. So, I’ve taken to setting up a vacation responder each weekend. The more mails stuffing my inbox, the more responses they receive. It may not be effective, but it provides passive aggressive satisfaction.
Weekend Vacation Responder Message – February 8th, 2013
It is the weekend, that time we spend the most valuable thing we’ve earned during the week – time. I’ll be on a mountain being adventurous. If it’s truly urgent call. If it’s not, then why aren’t you out enjoying what you’ve earned too? See you Monday! Or Tuesday if your celebrating any of the Canadian long weekends.
